Indispensable for all builders and restorers of musical instruments, certifiers, scholars, researchers and auction houses.
Designed and developed by electronics makers and experts with both expertise in machine vision systems and restoration, DISCOVERY is the best system on the market that combines quality and price, ease of use and portability.

DISCOVERY Video System consists of an illuminator and a camera.

The illuminator is a source independent of the camera.

Has two LED light sources with different cable structure: rigid and flexible one.

The light source with rigid cable with precision to reach each point inside the instrument.

The light source with flexible cable is inserted firmly into the lower eye of the ff, allowing hands-free work.

The illuminator is in itself useful also for other interventions within the tools, e.g. for adapting the soul.

The illuminator can be powered by internal battery PP3 9V, or from an external power supply at 5Vdc or from your computer's USB jack.

The camera consists of a semi-rigid probe with integrated electronics. Is inserted through the holes also narrower harmonic of the violin and allows insight into full frame tool.

The focus is manual with excellent depth of field.

The sensor has a high sensitivity and a VGA resolution which allows a sharp and defined image with respect of colours.

The system easily attaches to your computer via USB cable and manageable thanks to a simple but complete bundled software with which you can create movies and taking photographs of the Interior of the instrument that you want to analyze.

Very useful to study the Interior of tools for understanding and knowing the building system, the materials used, check for cracks or restorations, necklines, signatures and stamps and to make more accurate estimates for renovation.
